Opening: A Modern Café-Restaurant on Schinias Beach

In the Schinias bay in Marathon, we completed the creation of a modern café-restaurant directly on the sand. The objective was a functional, low-cost building, perfectly harmonized with the natural landscape, which protects against the elements of nature while offering an unobstructed sea view.

Featuring a minimalist geometric layout, the composition stands out for the clever rotation of its spaces, which optimizes orientation. The lightweight wooden structure ensured speed and sustainability, while the large pergola blurs the boundaries between the built and natural environment.
